What do I wear to the casting?

We suggest you wear a nice day or evening short to knee length dress. It is not necessary, nor do we suggest that you spend money on a dress for the casting calls. What you have in your wardrobe will be fine. We also suggest that you bring swimwear with you.

Where and when are the locations and dates for each state?

These dates are currently being finalised and will be released on the website soon.

Are there any height restrictions to enter?

There are no height restrictions.

How long will the casting/registration go for?

There will be a brief chat and viewing which doesn’t take long; however, there is a possibility or media shot and interviews after the casting.

Do I need to bring anything to the casting/registration day?

If you have a portfolio, please bring it along so we can see your work, otherwise; bring any head shot and body shot that you feel portrays your image best. Also bring your application for registration if you haven’t emailed or sent one through.

Can I apply to register in another state if I am unable to make it to the registration if my own state?

Yes, you can apply and register in any state you choose

Can I apply for the 2011 Miss Universe Australia is I have applied in the previous years?

Yes, you can apply as many times as you wish. You are not able to apply if you have previously won the Miss Universe Australia title or are not in the age restrictions.

If I make it through to the finals, do I need to buy or provide my own outfits e.g. cocktail dresses and swimwear?

Miss Universe Australia has fashion sponsors for the campaign to provide outfits to the contestants, however, if you wish to wear your own clothing that is fine.
